This is a project on the history and nature of discourses regarding the value or comparative lack of value of human life, as well as on the grounds for judging the existence or inexistence of value in such life, considered as an end in itself.
It aims to bring together voices from ethics, philosophy, literature, politics, medicine, political economy, economics and government and to serve as a research archive for everyone.
